Lucerne Half Marathon: 1hr 40mins 29secs

Very picturesque route. I’ve never arrived at a half marathon by boat before and this was my first experience of a Swiss event.

Not sure what I expected but it was really enjoyable. It was a bit like the crowd noise of the men's downhill in Wengen overlaid to a road race - lots of "hopp, hopp!" and plenty of cow bells.

I had done nothing during the 2 weeks before due to a cold, so I was very pleased to get round in 1 hr 40 mins. I felt wiped out though, so not sure what that means for New York but nothing I can do about it now........
